Sul retro del cd "All Mod Cons" dei Jam (1978) c'è una foto della Rickenbacker di Paul Weller in cui l'unico adesivo presente è quello dei Boys, classica formazione punk '77 londinese.
Le due band condivisero il palco dell'Hammesmith Odeon nel 1977, come riportato in una recensione della fanza "Graffiti" (si trova sul sito Bored Teenagers).
Oltre all'adesivo, si trovano un altro paio di chicche in giro. Sul libretto del primo disco dei Boys, omonimo, è segnalato che "Cop Cars" era la canzone dei Boys preferita da Paul Weller.
I Jam vengono poi citati in "Backstage Pass", presente sul secondo disco "Alternative Chartbuster":
